Privacy notice
Last updated 4 August 2026.
This notice explains what personal information Onoyolo Holdings collects through onoyolo.co.za, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to meet our obligations under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
This website has no accounts, no cart and no checkout. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to put into an enquiry: your name, company, email address, phone number, sector and the message itself.
The enquiry form does not post to a server. It composes an email in your own mail application, which you then send yourself — so nothing reaches us until you press send in your own client.
Cookies and analytics
We set no cookies and run no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this site. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request; we receive nothing from it.
Why we hold it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation
- To maintain a record of what was specified and supplied, for warranty purposes
- To meet tax, customs and certification record-keeping obligations
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use enquiry details for marketing unless you have asked us to.
Who else sees it
Where a quotation requires it, we share the minimum necessary details with distributors, manufacturers, freight forwarders and customs agents. They are bound to use that information only for the purpose we share it for.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become orders are kept for 24 months. Records relating to a supplied deployment are kept for the warranty period plus the retention window required by South African tax and customs law, currently five years.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where we have no legal basis to keep it. You may also object to processing, and you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
To exercise any of these, email pmongae@onoyolo.co.za or call +27 79 529 4061. We respond within 30 days.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we ask that you do not send banking details, identity numbers or passwords by email.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after that date means you accept the revised notice.
